Who We Are
We are a group of community members who love public transit. Instead of being expensive, unreliable, and unsafe, we want to make it a service for everyone in this prosperous city. We believe public transportation is a right. No one should be forced off the bus, refused a ride, or discriminated against.
This organization is founded to unite people in the community to demand our tax money go for transit and not military. We see so much money going for policing, that money should instead go to public services like housing, schools, universal healthcare and transit.
Transit is the best place to start. MUNI is beloved by San Francisco residents who expect more from the supposedly progressive city. Additionally, it is better for the environment and welcomes visitors.

We are too busy working multiple jobs to deal with the bureaucracy of San Francisco carried out by SFMTA. The city uses us a source of revenue rather than providing a public service. Squeezing a few extra pennies from the largely working class people who depend on public transportation is just wrong. Additionally, car owners without driveways and garages need to move their cars or get ticketed. Most of these ticketing practices affect poor and working class San Franciscans disproportionately. The bay area is home to the most billionaires in the United States yet public transportation is constantly under attack. Somehow SFMTA still has plenty of money to pay ticketing officers to harass riders.

After being forced of the bus for a later dismissed ticket, I knew that was the beginning of the fight for accountability and respect. It continues until we win the transit our community deserves.

I am a longtime San Francisco resident who is a “Limitarian” - believes an individual should have no more than $10 million - the excess should be confiscated and used for public services.

We want the transit events and website to be accessible to as many people as possible. I will work to include information in simplified and traditional Mandarin. I am also able to speak Thai.
